Designed and hand fabricated in Los Angeles by artist and designer Elizabeth Wild, Hammekin Jewelry is an investigation of forms and textures found in the artist’s local environment . Individual pieces are created from both natural resources like culinary spices, local plants or yard fruits and from found man-made ephemera like bottle tops or construction netting. These materials can be lingered over separately or joined together in suprising novel arrangements that reflect the ongoing relationship of human beings to nature. Designed for everyday wear and occasional drama, these pieces are meant to represent wonder and delight in “the ordinary” examined.

Hammekin jewelry is made for the creative spirit with an emphasis on the powerful and not overly sentimental feminine. These are pieces to be worn on the body as adornment for the woman who requires none but chooses objects to contemplate on more than one level.

All jewelry is one-of-a-kind or made in small limited production.
